Blake attended the Indiana School for the Blind from kindergarten through tenth grade. For his junior and senior year he enrolled in his Westfield, Indiana public high school, as he and his parents believed it would assist him in making the transition to the world of work. Upon graduating, Blake moved to Texas, where he further developed the necessary skills to live with a vision of hope while living in complete darkness. He now resides with his wife, Jennifer, in North Dallas.
